Bancnet

I have been always fascinated with banks because both my parents have a background in banking. Ever since i was a kid I've seen myself doing also the same thing but with the current degree i'm taking, a future in banking seemed blurry. I had this idea that i may not have a future in the banking industry, but soon enough i was proved wrong.

With the most recent company visit, the industry that would really like to be in was tapped. we went into Bancnet. With the set-up Bancnet was in, i was able to see the relevance of what my college degree can do in an industry such as banking and how technology can play a role in the different function of banking.

Bancnet specifically showed us how they cater to the needs of hundreds and hundreds of banks, how they provide ATM services as well as switches which connects bank transactions across partners.

After telling us what Bancnet does, we went around to see the action that happens inside their office. We saw people behind their desk tinkering with their computers. There was also a demonstration of how an ATM machine works.
